On completion of the work, the 2 were paid Rs 2000 by Deepesh and that they left.
Neeraj went on to narrate that when Deepesh came back, they opened the door to space which was pitch dark which the air-conditioning was on. When Deepesh switched on the sunshine, Siddharth went in and came out quickly followed by himself and Deepesh.
He alleged that the actor was hanging from the ceiling fan with a green cloth around his neck. Following this, he alleged that Siddharth called the actor’s sister Meetu Singh and told her about the death. then, he alleged that Siddharth asked him to fetch a knife and that they cut the material. He alleged that Sushant's feet were outside the bed while the remainder of the body fell on the bed. It was round the same time that Meetu entered the space and allegedly started shouting Gulshan tune ye kya Kiya?’

He also went on to say that Meetu asked the lads to rearrange Sushant’s body properly on the bed. The housekeeper also stated that he was the one who removed the green kurta round the actor’s neck which he even tried to resuscitate the actor by pumping his chest but to no avail. Following this, Siddharth called the police. According to the statement, the kurta in question was one among Sushant’s that he wont to wear while performing puja.
The CBI is currently investigating the case and has collected all the case record data, forensic files, and evidence that the Mumbai Police has collected in its two-month-long investigation.
