Stubble causes damage to lungs and heart

On the other hand, according to Dr. RP Singh, a cardiologist at Pancham Hospital, stubble burns by farmers in Punjab cause great damage to lungs and heart. For a week, if a healthy person unknowingly inhales the smoke of the straw into their body, it can cause infection in the lungs and bronchial asthma, while for many years, due to continuous smoke, the person also gets lung cancer. Not only this, when the particles of hazardous gases present in the smoke of straw are entered in the body through inhalation, then they settle in the blood vessels. Due to which the nerves shrink.

On the other hand, Dr. Monica Singla, DMCH's neurologist, says that when starch is burnt, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide gases are produced from it. If a person stays in contact with these gases for a long time, it can cause brain damage. Memory may be very low. While the head becomes heavy due to problems such as suffocation when exposed to smoke in a short time, nervousness occurs. Headaches start to complain.
