Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the first Vice President of India, was born on this day on September 5, 1888 in Tirumani village of Chennai, capital of Tamil Nadu. When Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan became the President of the country, many students came to meet him.
