SSP Gaurav Tura said that on September 1, a threatening e-mail was sent to Balkaur Singh, father of Sidhu Musewala. Taking action on this, Mansa Police in coordination with Delhi Police has arrested the accused from Bahadurgarh area.
Mansa: Mansa Police has arrested the accused who gave death threats to the father of Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu Musewala on internet media. The accused has been identified as Mahipal, a resident of Jodhpur district of Rajasthan.
Accused arrested from Bahadurgarh area in coordination with Delhi Police
SSP Gaurav Tura said that on September 1, a threatening e-mail was sent to Balkaur Singh, father of Sidhu Musewala. Taking action on this, Mansa Police in coordination with Delhi Police arrested the accused from Bahadurgarh area. SSP Tura said that the police remand will be sought after presenting the accused in the court, so that information can be obtained that at whose behest he had sent the threatening e-mail.
An account has been created on Instagram in the name of AG Bishnoi
It is being told that during this time two mobile phones have also been recovered from the accused. Not only this, the accused has created an account on Instagram in the name of AG Bishnoi. At present, preliminary interrogation has revealed that he had put threatening posts on the internet media to earn his name. Further inquiry is on in the matter.
The pain of relatives spilled on not getting justice
On the other hand, relatives of Sidhu Musewala have expressed their pain over not getting justice. Moosewala's mother Charan Kaur said that three months have passed since the son's murder, but till now the government has not taken any concrete steps. It is worth mentioning that on May 29, singer Sidhu Musewala was shot dead in Jawaharke village of Mansa.
