Giving information about the matter, Balvir Singh, resident of GK State, Bhamian Khurd said that he is a businessman. At around 2 am on Wednesday, he got a call from some unknown number that his electricity bill has not been paid. On this Balvir Singh said that he has deposited. Vicious said from the other side of the phone that if the deposit has been made, then the details are not coming here. If you deposit only Rs 100 now, then your details will come. The vicious thug asked him to download an app.
Became a victim of such fraud
Balveer Singh downloaded that app on his phone. After this, he was asked to deposit Rs 100 in the app. As soon as Balvir Singh deposited 100 rupees through the app, in the same way, one lakh 72 thousand rupees were blown from his account in two parts. Balveer Singh told that he was talking to a thug about the missing amount, when he got a call from the Mumbai branch of his bank that money was continuously disappearing from his account.
He was immediately asked to disconnect the phone but by then Rs 1.72 lakh had been transferred from his account. A complaint has been lodged with the cyber cell on their behalf. At present, action is being taken in the matter.
