Vardhman Special Steel has secured the first position in the Innovation Kaizen Competition. National Kaizen Competition was organized by Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertaking in Ludhiana. Principal Upkar Singh Ahuja said that this event is organized every year to hone the skills of the companies and share the talent with the entire industry through the platform.

In the National Kaizen Competition organized by Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertaking (CICU), 25 companies showcased their talent through their innovations. In this, Vardhman Special Steel stood first. While Moonlight Tools Private Limited stood second and SKG Engineers Company stood third. During this, MSME Director Varinder Sharma attended as the chief guest and gave away prizes to the winners. Principal Upkar Singh Ahuja said that this event is organized every year to hone the skills of the companies and share the talent with the entire industry through the platform. Kaizen brings forth best practices, which provide a new direction for the entire industry. During this, new innovative ideas were shared by 25 companies.

Sponsored by Sangeeta Steel, Dr. Sanjeev Katoch of Institute of Auto Parts and Handtool Technology, Dr. Sachin Vardhan, Deputy Director, CT University and Dr. Sahipal Singh, Principal, GNE College, performed the role of judge. During this period, Highway Industry in Quality Improvement, Max Specialty Films Limited in Solid Waste Management, SKG Engineers in Energy Saving, Kangaroo Tools in Low Cast Automation, Kangaroo Industry in Productivity Improvement, Tech Auto in Cast Saving, GS Auto, Vardhman Spinning and General Mills.
