The price of coriander is such that now the vegetable sellers are shying away from giving free coriander, which earlier used to give free along with vegetables. Retail vegetable vendors say that prices are on fire in the market, so they too have to sell vegetables at an expensive price. Experts say that with the increase in the influx of vegetables in the coming week, their prices will be controlled. Onion is being sold in the retail market for Rs 50/kg and tomato for Rs.70/kg.

Let us tell you that in the month of July, the effect of continuous rain in many parts of the country started affecting the kitchen budget of the people. The prices of vegetables had suddenly increased due to the rains. At that time the prices of green coriander, green onion, spinach ful cauliflower, ghee tinda and peas were touching the sky. Especially green onion worth Rs 20-30 per kg was also being sold in the market for Rs 200 per kg. Be aware that green onion in Ludhiana comes from Himachal and Delhi. In July, coriander was also selling for 120-140. Spinach was selling at Rs 50, peas 80 and cabbage for Rs 70.
