Milkha Singh had asked for only one rupee for his biopic, his last wish was never fulfilled

New Delhi, Jnn. India's great sprinter Milkha Singh died due to Corona, he was 91 years old. The family told the media that Padma Shri Milkha Singh breathed his last at 11:30 pm. Earlier, his wife and former Indian volleyball team captain Nirmal Kaur also died due to corona infection. Bhaag Milkha Bhaag film has also been made on the biopic of Milkha Singh, popularly known as Flying Sikh. Farhan Akhtar lived the screen in this film released in 2013. Milkha Singh put a strange condition in front of the filmmaker.
Actually, Milkha Singh's daughter Sonia Sanwalka wrote a book on her father's life titled 'Race of My Life', which was published in the year 2013. After the publication of this book, filmmaker Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra decided to make a film 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' on the life of Milkha Singh. One rupee demanded for biopic
While the celebs ask for a fee in crores to allow them to make a film on the biopic, Milkha Singh asked the filmmaker for only one rupee note. The special thing about this one rupee note was that this one rupee note was from the year 1958, when Milkha won the gold medal for independent India for the first time in the Commonwealth Games. During the promotion of the film, Milkha Singh told that he is very happy with the role played by Farhar Akhtar in the film. The actor has worked hard to look like him in the film. Milkha had said that only one wish of his life remained unfulfilled. He told that the gold medal which slipped from my hands in Rome Olympics, I want to see it in my country before leaving the world. This is my last wish.
