New Delhi, Jnn. Mera Gaon Mera Desh, considered a cult film on the subject in the era of Hindi cinema when dacoit and thrilling tales of dacoits started hitting the silver screen, has completed a glorious journey of 50 years. The film directed by Raj Khosla was released on 25 June 1971.

There he learns that the terror of the dreaded dacoit Jabbar Singh is spreading in that area. Ajit undertakes to eliminate Jabbar, with Jaswant Singh helping and training him.

Now if we talk about Sholay, in order to take revenge of the robber Gabbar Singh, Thakur calls two petty criminals named Jai and Veeru to his village. Sholay directed by Ramesh Sippy was released in 1975 and went on to become one of the biggest successes of Hindi cinema.
