COVID-19 Cases: Today records broken again, more than 4 lakh new cases and 3,980 people died

New Delhi, ANI. Over 4 lakh new corona infects have been identified during the last 24 hours in India, while the new figure of deaths due to Kovid-19 broke all the old records. According to information received from the Union Health Ministry on Thursday morning, 4,12,262 new cases of infection occurred in India in the last 24 hours and 3,980 people died. After this, the total number of infected people in the country has increased to 2,10,77,410 and the total death toll has reached 2,30,168. According to the ministry, at present the total number of active cases in the country is 35,66,398 and the total number of discharged cases is 1,72,80,844. Till Wednesday, a total of 29,67,75,209 sample tests have been done for Corona virus in India, of which 19,23,131 samples were tested only yesterday. These figures have been reported by the Indian Council of Medical Research, ICMR.

As far as vaccination is concerned to protect against this deadly virus, so far more than 16.24 crore vaccine doses have been given in the country as part of the vaccination campaign started from January 16. Explain that on May 110, 18,90,346 people were vaccinated on the 110th day of this campaign. The Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry gave this information on Wednesday.

The first day on the 1st of this month was when more than 4 lakh infected were identified in a 24-hour period. On that day, 4,01,993 new cases of COVID-19 were registered and 3,523 people died. Earlier, on April 21, the infection had crossed 3 lakhs, ie within 1 day, 1 lakh cases had increased.
