1- 2022 Tata Nexon EV (2022 Tata NEXON EV)
Tata Motors is also testing the updated Nexon EV, which is expected to arrive by April 2022. This will be a new high-range variant, which will be sold along with the regular model. The new model will come with a bigger battery pack along with some mechanical upgrades. It is likely to come with a bigger 40kWh battery pack.
2- Jeep Meridian
Jeep Meridian, the upcoming three-row SUV from the American automaker is all set to make its India debut on March 29, 2022. It will be launched in the month of May. The design and styling of the SUV will be similar to the Jeep Commander, which is currently on sale in select global markets. Compared to the Compass, the Meridian is longer and has more cabin space. For power, the new Jeep SUV will use the same 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder Multijet turbo diesel engine. The motor can be mated to a 9-speed automatic gearbox.
3- Tata Safari/Harrier Petrol (TATA SAFARI/HARRIER PETROL)
Tata Motors is also testing petrol derivatives of Safari and Harrier. The new model is likely to be equipped with a new 1.5 or 1.6-litre turbocharged DI (direct-injection) motor. Talking about the powertrain, the upcoming car is expected to generate around 160bhp power and 250Nm of torque.
4- Tata Altroz EV
Tata Motors will launch a new electric version of the Altroz hatchback before the end of this year. The new model will be equipped with Tata's Ziptron electric powertrain. It will be equipped with the same battery pack option that is available on the Nexon EV. The compact SUV is available with a 30.2 kWh battery pack, which churns out 127bhp. The Nexon Electric is currently capable of delivering an ARAI certified range of 312km.
5- New Maruti Ertiga XL6 ( 2022 Maruti Ertiga)
The 2022 Maruti Ertiga and XL6 facelift have started reaching dealerships before the launch, which is going to be launched soon, although its official launch is yet to be announced. The new Ertiga will get minor changes inside and out. Major updates will come in the form of a 1.5L petrol engine, which can make 105bhp and a new 6-speed automatic gearbox. This time around, the Maruti XL6 could be offered with 6- and 7-seat configurations.
