There is a shortage of many products and two or four have to be faced due to various types of bottlenecks. The industry is already going through a period of troubles due to Kovid and the uptick in business since a year has spoiled the equation of the industry. In such a situation, due to the absence of electricity, engineering, steel, forging, casting have been completely affected. If export orders are dropped, it will be the biggest hurdle in the growth of the industry for the time being.
The industry has many problems in the domestic market as well.
Along with this, the industry is also facing many problems in the domestic market. He said that strict action should be taken against the officials who are unable to make arrangements for power shortage and for this. Because every year the demand increases in this way, but why were arrangements not made for it this time. Due to which Punjab has been thrown off the economic track. It becomes the responsibility of the department to ensure electricity to the industry under any circumstances. The industry should also be given relief from the electricity bills of July and August.
