WASHINGTON, Nov. 6 - President and Republican leader Donald Trump is facing a major setback after he launched a large-scale legal campaign over allegations of widespread irregularities in the US presidential election. The courts have dismissed two petitions filed by Trump alleging that there were electoral irregularities in the states of Michigan and Georgia.

With this development, Trump has been a huge fiasco since the beginning of the legal battle. Frustrated by the fierce competition in the presidential elections, Trump has launched a legal war against former vice president and Democratic leader Joe Biden in the states he lost. However, there were no irregularities in the electoral vote counts. Michigan Court of Claims Judges Cynthia Steffens and Georgia Court Judge James F. Bass have made it clear that they will reject Donald Trump's plea to halt the vote.
