ANI, Kiev. many people died in the snow storm; millions of people affected Amidst the ongoing war with Russia, another mountain has fallen on Ukraine. Actually, the southern region of Odessa has been hit by snow storm and rain, in which about 10 people died. Apart from this, 23 others including two children were injured.

Helped more than 2 thousand people

Kiev Independent reported that Ukraine's Interior Minister Ihor Klimenko was one of the hardest-hit regions of Ukraine, Odessa Oblast, where five people were reported dead and 15 injured. Meanwhile, emergency services provided assistance to 2,498 people in the oblast, including 162 children.

Many people affected by the weather

According to the minister, two people died and two were injured in Mykolaiv Oblast. The remaining dead victims were reported in Kyiv and Kharkiv Oblast, the Kyiv Independent reported. Russian officials said one person died in Crimea due to weather conditions on 27 November.

President expressed gratitude

On 26–27 November, heavy storms, wind, rain and snowfall affected much of Ukraine, causing flooding, damage to buildings, power outages and traffic problems. Earlier on Monday, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky expressed his gratitude to rescue workers, utility workers and local authorities for carrying out round-the-clock rescue operations.

Light failure at many places

A total of 1,530 stranded vehicles were rescued. According to Klymenko, eight highways in the Mykolaiv and Kirovohrad regions are closed and traffic is restricted on sections of two roads in the Odessa Oblast. About 411 hamlets in 11 areas reportedly remained without electricity till Tuesday morning.
